Biscut and Smokie were adopted together and are flourishing at their new home. Here is their story:

Smokie has really filled out. He is a wonderful ride, and we plan to work with Biscuit this winter so we can ride him all over by next spring!

I'm sure we will try to stop by the rescue the next time we are headed out that way. See you then!

April went to live with MaryJane and Jennifer. Here is their story:

She loves her!! She brushed her, fed her, cleaned her hooves and led her around to eat grass and just loved all over her. She is just beaming. She was so surprised!! Wish you could have been here!!

They went to Protem today to a harvest party at the church and she cried! She didn't want to leave her pony!! :) I hope you don't mind but she calls her "my little Shadow". I don't know if I told you, my MaryJane is autistic. It's too hard to explain to her that her name is April. She always wanted a black pony!! I know God sent April here! She's so precious!!

From the first moment she saw her, she started calling her "my little Shadow". It was so neat!! It was dark when they got here and MaryJane always has to go see Sissy, so we went to the barn and as soon as we walked in, April walked up to the stall door. MaryJane was so excited!! She said I need to look at her!! So we got her out in the light. She hugged her and said, "You are my little Shadow". We had a hard time getting her to take time to eat or come in from the barn and corral!! Lol!! I think she would have slept there if she could! ~ Jennifer K.
