CCFER
depends upon the kindness and generosity of others to accomplish our goals. Not
only do we depend on you -- our horses do as well. Caring for a healthy horse
requires substantial yearly costs, but caring for a rescue horse can double those
costs quickly. Many rescues require specific dietary needs, extensive hoof care
treatments and at the minimum a complete dose of yearly shots and routine wormings.
To
meet these needs we accept both monetary donations and item donations. To send
donations via federal mail our address is:

DONATIONS
Donate
$50.00 to the horse of your choice to cover the costs of feed, veterinary bills,
supplements and farrier bills for two months. In return we'll send you a monthly
snapshot and a detailed update of his or her progress.
Contribute
the amount of your choosing either as a general donation to the entire facility
or for the horse of your preference and we will send you a certificate of appreciation.
We
accept Paypal, a safe way to make online donations. You can make a Paypal donation
with your Paypal account or if you don't have an account, you can make a donation
with a credit or debit card.
ITEM
DONATIONS
CCFER
will accept ANY item of tack -- bits, bridles, halters, leads, saddle pads, brushes
etc -- that you may wish to contribute.
CCFER
will also accept any supplement or feed donation including wormer tubes. These
items should be sent in their original package and the seal should not be broken.
The only exception to this is if you are a manufacturer or wholesaler and want
to donate broken feed bags, or other items that would otherwise not be appropriate
for retail sales.
CCFER
further accepts any donation of supplies that would allow us to expand and improve,
as well as continue maintenance on our facility. Such items would include
lumber / building materials, fencing materials, paint, hoses, heaters, fans, containment
panels etc.
Finally,
CCFER also accepts any sort of medical or hospital equipment donations. These
items will be kept on-site for the exclusive use of our facility veterinarian
which would reduce our veterinary costs if we are able to provide supplies.
Please
be sure to check our WISH LIST for needed items as
well.
